c) "What do you intend to get from this event?"  (part of registration, application)

d) How proactive/reactive are you as a CEO?  Franklin-Covey time mgmt assesement test.  onna: I really love the Franklin Covey activity matrices you had everyone at leads do.  Don’t know if it applies here, but maybe this could be one last Aha, I need to focus here.    They could also take this test in 15min at the beginning of the day.

AGENDA - MORNING

Introduction, agenda, ground rules

* Immediately: who wants to share

   - their assessment or

   - reason for coming / outcome you want to achieve

Concepts/Sketches: Connection of Customer Trust and CEO/org enjoyment

- Enjoyment = happier, motivated, trusting employees = happier, trusting customers who spread the word...

Small group discussion:  self-reflection / discovery

- "What were my past experiences like?"    - What did i think about working in banana cultures?  Orange cultures?  What was good/bad of both?

- "What kind of culture do I want to work in?"

- "What kind of culture do I want to create?" - how have I created it in the past, how can I create it going forward?

[Do we make this a collaborative effort to create a snapshot of the cultures people want to create?  I.e. list the attributes, then vote with sticky dots.

Onna comment: This is good, you could also make it a group event after, by using white boards or flip chart paper and putting 10 items up on the board, then everyone gets a red sticker or marker or sticker w/ their names on it and they can go up and stick it next to or mark the item that’s most important to them, so as to show group concensus and which also points everyone in the directions for the next topics. So two-fold purpose 1) people are listening to their ideas and 2) this will help you pick their brains without them knowing and will help get content for next seminars!  J  So if 10 things go up, 5 might have concenus, but 5 might be pretty cool shtuff to tackle for another seminar.

We share examples/case studies of orange cultures, to prime them before they start solving issues

Small group discussion: What are people's issues?  (Personal too, if the source is related to work in any way)

- Create a list of each person's top issue(s)

- If it's a personal issue, how is work creating/exacerbating it?  Onna: I think this might be most beneficial.  Companies are a reflection of their owners, no?  So how to get someone to let go who has control issues?

Small group discussion:  Go down the list of issues

- What would a banana solution look like?

- What would an orange solution look like?

- Discuss

- What will the CEO do as a next step?
