Ways to Engage with PebbleStorm

Page history last edited by Aaron Ross 3 years, 8 months ago
1. PebbleStorm Circles
Local meetings of 6-14 people in their own neighborhoods, led by a local champion:

(I will start one myself soon here in Santa Monica)

2. Regular Conference Call

3. An email list/group
These are easy to start, but when they're purely open, then can get cluttered (which might be ok). Here are some options I've been considering:
  • Open list...easy, but it'll get cluttered over time
  • Pre-screen who can enter (say, only if they've been to an event or to a conference call)...but approval/admin would be challenging as it grew
  • $2-5+/month subscription.  This way, the only people on the list are ones that are currently mentally engaged.  However, we'd lose some people that could contribute in serendipitous ways.  Actually, hmm - if it was a subscription, I could spend plenty of time responding to emails myself and everyone would benefit...

4. Community website

like http://theinspiredoffice.ning.com/

5. Workshop format

A smaller venue where I would work 1-1 with a few people more intensely for half a day, for example.

6. Podcast

Thanks for the suggestion :)
